Testing with new lens 17-50 F2.8 Tamron

Recently bought a new toys again. It is Tamron 17-50 with fix aperture F2.8 without VC.
I chose this lens is due to the price is reasonable and with a fix aperture F2.8. Bokeh and yes, I did love bokeh alot especially for portrait and can bring out the object from the blur blur background. Overall it is a very good lens but yet to test out more. I found several pros and cons as below:
Pros
1)F2.8 that can give you good bokeh and also easier to use in low light condition
2)@17mm it seems not that distorted as for the 17-85mm canon lens
3)The distance of able to be focused (macro) is much shorter than any canon lens
4)The lens is build with 7 blade aperture. It turned the bokeh in a round round light as compare to pentagon for the 50mm F1.8
5)The lens diameter is 67mm and can be share filter with my 17-85mm lens, so I am gonna invest on a CPL filter soon

Cons
1)@21-22mm something went wrong during my recent(1st tryout). The group picture seems got a little bit of distortion
2)The lens zoom is different direction as for the canon lens, not use to it...
3)The AF is acceptable but the AF motor is much noisy as compare to USM
4)The zoom ring is very tight as compare to canon lens

1st attempt :P and more to be upcoming....
